Minutes of the meeting of the Electoral Area D Advisory Planning Commission held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Strathcona Regional District Office, located at 990 Cedar Street, Campbell River, BC.

A quorum having been confirmed, the Chair called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. with the following commissioners in attendance:

FIRST NATIONS TERRITORIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
  
The Chair will acknowledged that we are located on the traditional territory of the Laichwiltach people.
 
 
ADOPTION OF PUBLIC AGENDA

THAT the agenda for the May 1, 2024 meeting of the Electoral Area D Advisory Planning Commission be adopted as presented.

ADOPTION OF MINUTES
  
It was noted that the meeting was incorrectly referred to as "Inaugural" in the title of the minutes.
 
Commissioner Hebert advised that her name was spelled incorrectly in various mover and seconder references throughout the minutes.

Commission Meeting Schedule
 
The Chair advised that the next meeting is currently scheduled for June 5, 2024 and that it may be necessary to re-schedule the July meeting because of the statutory holiday.
