Mosaic Forest Management
 
Director Adams joined the meeting.
 
The Chair welcomed Molly Hudson, Director of Sustainability and Aaron Racher, General Manager North Island Operations from Mosaic Forest Management who made a presentation regarding the Big Coast Carbon project and Sustainable Forest Management activities on Quadra Island and Cortes Island.
 
The Chair thanked the presenters.

CHAIR'S REPORT
Former Director John MacDonald
 
The Chair advised that former Director and Mayor of the Village of Sayward passed away on August 2, 2022. A celebration of life will be held on August 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Kelsey Centre in Sayward. Chair Unger expressed his condolences to John's wife Sue and family.
 
Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Ministerial Meetings
 
The Chair advised that confirmation of meeting requests have not been received by the Regional District to date. Once confirmations are received they will be sent to directors by email.
