Minutes of the special meeting of the Strathcona Gardens Commission held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Strathcona Regional District offices located at #301 - 990 Cedar Street, Campbell River, BC.

There being a quorum present, the Chair called the meeting to order at 12:34 p.m. with the following Commissioners in attendance:

THAT the report from the Chief Administrative Officer be received. [Item]

THAT the Commission recommend that the 2019-2023 Financial Plan package include $45,000 to extend the ice season at Strathcona Gardens until May long weekend each year. [Item]

THAT the Commission recommend that the 2019-2023 Financial Plan package include $511,893 in the operating budget to create a full-time assistant manager of operations position at Strathcona Gardens. [Item]

THAT the Commission recommend that the 2019-2023 Financial Plan package include $28,500 in the operating budget to develop and maintain customized reporting capability of the recreation software system at Strathcona Gardens. [Item]

THAT the Commission recommend that the 2019-2023 Financial Plan package include the carry forward of $17,500 plus an additional $42,500 for a total capital project cost of $60,000 for the leisure ice mechanical divider at Strathcona Gardens. [Item]
